Indonesia, Jakarta, JW Mariott Hotel


2003 August 5th. -- Indonesia, Jakarta, JW Mariott Hotel: a bomb, probably carried in an Indonesian-made Kijang van, went of on the driveway in front of the 33-story building in Jakarta's business district; the blast damaged the embassies of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark in the adjacent Rajawali building, but no staffers were injured; 13 people died and at least 149 were wounded.
