1950 June 26th. Airplane Crash - York: Australian National Airlines Douglas DC-4; 28 of the 29 people aboard died
1960 October 06th. Airplane Crash - Mackay: Trans Australia Airlines Fokker F-27 Friendship crashed into the ocean; all 29 people aboard died
1961 November 30th. Airplane Crash - Sydney: Ansett Australia Vickers Viscount broke apart in severe turbulence; all 15 people aboard died
1966 September 22nd. Airplane Crash - Winton: Ansett Australia Vickers Viscount 832 crashed after an engine caught fire; all 24 people aboard died
1968 December 31st. Airplane Crash - Port Hedland: Robertson-Miller Airlines Vickers Viscount 720 crashed after an in-flight separation of the right wing; all 26 people aboard died
1975 October 23rd. Airplane Crash - Queensland, Cairnes Airport: Connair Ply de Havilland DH-114 Heron crashed while attempting to land in a thunderstorm; all 11 people aboard died
